Banco Terra receives a certificate for supporting education in Mozambique
The Academic Community for development (CADE) honored Banco Terra on the 3rd of December with a certificate for abet towards the activities that sustain the education in Mozambique.
On the 6th edition of the Education Gala a certificate was presented to a member of the board of directors of Banco Terra. 11 students and teachers, from all around Mozambique, were awarded for their performance during the academic year of 2009.
CADE awarded Banco Terra, along with other institutions that support the Mozambican education, for the support given to the academic newspaper Caderno Giro. The bank sponsors the newspaper and writes a page about financial education to educate the students of Mozambique.
CADE is a Mozambican organization which works in various fields, but is has always maintained education oriented. Since 2003, CADE has the Education Gala, with the objective of creating incentives for the education institutes to continue their long-term support of the organist ion.
