Opening Maputo branch
Banco Terra today announced that all clearances have been received to open its first branch in Maputo on April 23rd 2008
Rien van Eck, COO of Banco Terra stated that he was extremely pleased with the full array of products that can now be offered to clients, and reflected that the bank has been set up in record time, barely 7 months after platform selection and programming efforts were initiated. “This is a historical day in the project history of Banco Terra as we have formally kicked off the building of our branch network”, according to Mr. van Eck.
Banco Terra is a full fledged commercial bank, aimed at providing financial services to the rural and peri-urban areas of Mozambique.
