Banco Terra goes live with Temenos T24 Model Bank

GENEVA, Switzerland – 26 November 2008: Temenos, the provider of integrated core banking systems, today announced that Banco Terra, a specialist in financing agriculture-oriented activities, has gone live with TEMENOS T24 Model Bank to support its new operations in Mozambique. This will support all Banco Terra’s retail and commercial banking operations in the region.

President Guebuza Inaugurates “BANCO TERRA”

Mozambican President Armando Guebuza on Wednesday formally inaugurated the country’s newest commercial bank, Banco Terra (Land Bank), the first Mozambican bank that will focus specifically on agriculture and the countryside.

2008 World Press Photo Exhibition in Maputo
