Social Responsibility
Banco Terra's reason of existence is to make a meaningful contribution to Millennium Development Goal #1, which is to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger.
Our support comes in the form of enabling access to basic financial services to disadvantaged communities in the peri-urban areas and rural countryside. We are convinced that the participation of these sectors in the economic infrastructure of Mozambique will have a catalyst effect on sustainable growth and development of the country as a whole.
In pursuit of this goal, Banco Terra will build a commercial bank that treats customers and potential clients with the respect they deserve.
We'll invest heavily in developing our workforce and shall promote the standards of social and ecological responsibility that are embodied in our Articles of Association.
